GMO\u57fa\u6539\u98df\u7269\u6216\u8fb2\u7522\u54c1\u5230\u5e95\u662f\u5426\u5b89\u5168\uff0c\u6709\u6c92\u6709\u4efb\u4f55\u526f\u4f5c\u7528\u5462\uff1f\u53ef\u80fd\u6c92\u6709\u4eba\u53ef\u4ee5\u5b8c\u6574\u7684\u56de\u7b54\uff0c\u4f46\u96a8\u8457\u66f4\u591a\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u9032\u884c\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u78ba\u5be6\u767c\u73fe\u6709\u4e9bGMO\u7522\u54c1\u5c0d\u98df\u7528\u8005\u662f\u53ef\u80fd\u6709\u5bb3\u7684\u3002\u7389\u7c73\u8ddf\u9ec3\u8c46\u662f\u7576\u524d\u6700\u5927\u5b97\u7684GMO\u7522\u54c1\uff0c\u5728\u6211\u5011\u65e5\u5e38\u98f2\u98df\u7684\u4f9b\u61c9\u934a\u7576\u4e2d\uff0c\u4ed6\u5011\u5982\u5f71\u96a8\u5f62\uff0c\u96d6\u7136\u6211\u5011\u53ef\u80fd\u770b\u4e0d\u5230\u4ed6\u5011\u6700\u539f\u59cb\u7684\u98a8\u8c8c\uff0c\u8a8d\u4e0d\u51fa\u5230\u5e95\u5b58\u4e0d\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u4f46\u5f88\u53ef\u80fd\u7121\u610f\u9593\u90fd\u6703\u53d7\u5230\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u5f71\u97ff\u3002<\/p>\n

\n<\/span><\/div>\nA peer reviewed scientific paper published in Environmental Sciences Europe on March 1, 2011 showed that GM corn and soybeans caused significant kidney and liver problems in rats and mice. The scientists have stated: ‘\u2026<\/span> that it is unacceptable to submit 500 million Europeans and several billions of consumers worldwide to the new pesticide GM-derived foods or feed<\/span>\u2026’<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/div>\nProfessor Gilles-Eric S\u00e9ralini and colleagues reviewed data <\/span>from 19 animal feeding studies. They found that the kidneys of males had 43.5% of all the pathological changes and the livers of females had 30.8% of the changes.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/div>\nThe scientists stated that ‘several convergent data appear to indicate liver and kidney problems as end points of GMO diet effects.’<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/div>\nThe authors also found problems in other measured parameters such as blood, urine, organ weights and body weights. Microscopic analyses (histopathology) of the organs showed differences between the GM and Non GM fed animals. The scientists stated that ‘Other organs may be affected too, such as the heart and spleen, or blood cells.’<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/div>\nThe GM corn and soybean used in the trials constitute 83% of the commercialised varieties and are consumed by hundreds of millions of people. The scientists expressed strong concerns about the current inadequacies of the feeding trials used to evaluate the safety of GMOs.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/div>\nThis is particularly the case of pesticidal GMOs. Every cell of these plants produce a pesticide, however they do not have to undergo the same testing rigour that is applied to pesticides before they are approved.<\/span><\/div>\n
\n<\/span><\/div>\nThe scientists stated: ‘We can conclude, from the regulatory tests performed today, that it is unacceptable to submit 500 million Europeans and several billions of consumers worldwide to the new pesticide GM-derived foods or feed, this being done without more controls (if any) than the only 3-month-long toxicological tests and using only one mammalian species, especially since there is growing evidence of concern (Tables 1 and 2). This is why we propose to improve the protocol of the 90-day studies to 2-year studies with mature rats, using the Toxotest approach, which should be rendered obligatory, and including sexual hormones assessment too. The reproductive, developmental, and transgenerational studies should also be performed. The new SSC statistical method of analysis is proposed in addition. This should not be optional if the plant is designed to contain a pesticide (as it is the case for more than 99% of cultivated commercialized GMOs), whilst for others, depending on the inserted trait, a case-by-case approach in the method to study toxicity will be necessary.’<\/span><\/div>\n
